The club is happy to announce the donation of £4,010 to various charities, which was made possible thanks to the success of its annual races (Felsted 10k and Stebbing 10).
GFDR aims to donate funds every year to Essex charities or those close to our runners’ hearts, and the chosen 2023 recipients were:
- Challenge MND (£250)
- Happy Hill (£1,000)
- Headway Essex (£1,000)
- MacMillan Cancer Support (£250)
- Royal British Legion (£510)
- Transplant Sports (£1,000)
The club would like to thank its members for donating their time to volunteer at the club ‘s races. Felsted 10k and Stebbing 10 (and as a result, the club’s annual donations ) could not happen without them.”
