Membership applications are now open.
Last season, due to the uncertainty regarding Covid-19, the committee had decided to only charge £15, a sum equivalent to the England Athletics Affiliation fee. As a result, the club did not take any income from membership over the past year, and this compared very favourably with the membership fees charged by local clubs.
Although the coming year looks a lot more positive than 2020, there is still some uncertainty over the timings for full resumption of all club activities. Acknowledging this, the committee have agreed to offer another year of discounted membership: the 2021/22 fee will be £22.50 for a 1st claim membership, of which £15 goes to England Athletics. The £7.50 that the club is taking represents a 50% discount to the normal club portion of fee.
Second claim membership will also be discounted, and it has been set at £7.50 for the year.
