Sunday 16th June 2024.
On a pleasant morning, 368 runners took to the streets of High Easter and surrounding villages to compete in the 2024 edition of the High Easter 10k. Part of the Essex Championships, the male race was won by James Connor (who also set a course record at 30:40) , and the female race saw Ellie Baverstock (36:12) gain victory.
GFDR runners took part in numbers, with some of our competitors also achieving medals with a win in the women V40 (Sarah Williams) and a bronze in the Essex V50s (Hannah McIlvenna).
A thoroughly enjoyable day with many smiling faces at the end of the race!
